So large that even with laces pulled tight my heel would rise with each step. And by then the upper laces hurt my foot. Too bad, as the previous pair half a size smaller was too short, too narrow, too tight in the toebox. I ended up with Columbia Ice Maiden II, a comfortable waterproof alternative winter boot.

These aren’t as cute as Sketchers performance boots. These are more heavy duty, including bring waterproof. They aren’t very comfortable for me. I ordered 1:2 size up to accommodate my orthotics. Just not comfy & no zipper. AND they squeak when walking! I kept looking for a mouse!!!

I really really wanted to like these! I’m a huge Skechers fan and was hoping they had managed to design a waterproof boot as comfortable as their other footwear, but that def wasn’t the case, at least with these. They were extremely stiff, like the part around my shin just didn’t allow for any kind of movement at all. And the footbed (which is what usually impresses me most about Skechers!) was really uncomfortable — it felt as if my foot was sliding forward slightly and hitting the front of the boot. Very disappointed.

The shoe was stiff and the materials looked cheap. I was hoping to replace last year’s Skechers booties, no longer made, sadly.
