Dawn –
I bought the shoes for pickleball. For those of you who may be worried about your foot slipping out when you run since they are step ins, I haven’t had that problem. You are able to tie them tighter which I did. Because I have done that, they aren’t as easy to step into. The only issue I have had is that my feet are flat and the removable arch supports were making my feet, ankles and knees hurt. I removed the inserts and now they are comfortable. The only thing I’m concerned about is that when you remove the insert the material underneath seems sponge like. It is comfortable, I’m just worried about the durability of that material. I can’t speak to the durability of the shoe since I’ve only had them for about a week. I gave a 4 instead of a 5 because I don’t know the durability of the shoe yet.

I absolutely love these shoes!! They are comfortable and great on the court. I love the sleek look of them as well. I play Pickleball 5-7 days a week and find that a lot of Pickleball shoes to be thick and clunky. The description “slip-in” had me intrigued. They are so easy to get on and off and I love this feature. Another bonus is that these shoes have lasted me a very long time and I go through court shoes every 2 months. They are made of Goodyear tire tread. I’ve had these for several months and they are still going strong. I got the blue/purple color and I get compliments all the time. Please do not discontinue this shoe. I can’t wait to buy another pair when these are done.

These shoes are wonderful. I have a flat foot and they give me great support both in the arch and in the ankles. Nice and cushiony and my feet don’t hurt when I’m done playing. The Goodyear rubber on the bottom can stop on a dime and it’s great for play!

Love these shoes! Iโve tried several different brands of pickleball shoes & these are by far my favorites. They are very comfortable, offer good support & stability and are very stylish too!

I owned 2 Skechers PB Viper Court and decided to try the Elite Hand Free Slip-Ins. The fit is too snugged so I exchanged for a 1/2 up and hope it will work out. Thank you Zappos for your exceptional customer service.

I feel bad having to leave a negative review but my only intention is to be helpful and perhaps Skechers may do some modification to improve the fit. I’ve owned 2 pairs of Skechers PB Viper Court & loved them so decided to try the Elite Hands Free Slip-Ins model; the 6.5 was very snugged so I returned and ordered a 7. While the 7 fits the length and width of my feet I still experienced but the same tightness pressing down from the top part of the shoe causing the bottom of my feet fatigue. (I don’t really know how to describe the discomfort differently). These shoes were on sale, great style but I couldn’t justify to keep them since I wouldn’t be able to wear them! Had to return. Thank you Zappos for such easy shopping experience.

I have been wearing another Skechers style (Viper Pro) for the past year. It has been a good shoe, but it was showing some wear on the bottom and I felt like I needed more lateral support. What I loved about the Viper Pro (the other shoe) was that it was sooo flexible and light. This shoe (the Viper Pro ELITE) is a more “substantial” shoe — the material is a bit thicker. It does seem a bit more snug or more narrow than the Viper Pro shoe. My standard shoe size is an 8.5 and that’s what fit with the Viper Pro. But, given the reviews for the Viper Pro ELITE, I sized up to a 9 in the Viper Pro ELITE. It gives me plenty of room, without being too long or wide. So, I would recommend buying it 1/2 size bigger than your normal shoe size.
I do not use the “slip in” concept. I want my pickleball shoes laced up tight so that my foot isn’t sliding around when I make quick stops or side to side moves. In searching for a new shoe, I ordered Asics Gel Resolution 9 and Nike Vaper Pro 2. I really wanted to try a new brand, but the Asics Gel Resolution runs very snug and felt like it was pressing down on the top of my foot. The Nike Vaper Pro was pretty good, but the heel felt a bit loose and the side of the opening was rubbing on my ankle when I had it on at home. So, I went back to Skechers, and upgraded from the Viper Pro to the Viper Pro Elite. The little “dots” all over the Viper Pro Elite provide more lateral stability than the Viper Pro shoe that I was wearing. The cushion is thicker in the Elite insole — this may partly explain why people feel they run tight/narrow. As I played in the Elite shoe, I did have to re-tie the shoes once as my foot compressed some of the thickness of the insole down, and it felt a little loose. So, don’t be too concerned if it feels a bit snug at first. It will compress a little bit and you’ll have a bit more space vertically in the shoe. I did not have any points where the shoe rubbed my ankle/foot raw like I had with KSwiss and Nike shoes. These shoes (Viper Pro Elite) have good lateral support and good cushioning in the sole. They fit well in the heel too.
OVERALL: Order a 1/2 size up from your normal shoe size. I’m very happy with this shoe and its lateral support, cushioning, overall fit. It IS a step up from the regular Viper Pro version; a bit more substantial. It’s a winner for me. (and I’m pretty particular when it comes to my pickleball shoes — they are the foundation of my game!) I would like to see Skechers make some shoes that are mainly white with just a LITTLE BIT of color on the shoe (maybe black or blue or orange — not the whole shoe — just a part of the shoe with color and the rest being mainly white).

I bought these after trying 8 other styles/brands of pickleball shoes. I was blown away but how much I love these shoes!!!
One of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and Iโve had many foot surgeries.
I canโt recommend these shoes enough!! Go buy them!! They just need more colors for me to purchase!
Peach –
I play pickleball two to three times a week on an indoor court. The shoes are amazing. I have had way less concern about falling over since I got really court shoes. I also get a lot of compliments when I wear them. However, the ventilation in the shoes is almost nonexistent. They make my feet incredibly hot and sweaty. It’s not a total deal breaker for me, but I wish they were more breathable.
Anna –
The shoes are FANTASTIC!
Amy –
These new pickleball shoes are amazing. They feel great on and didn’t take but one wear to feel like I’ve had them on for weeks. Can’t wait to test out the Goodyear “treads” on the bottom to see if they last longer than most other court shoes.
Christine –
The reason I’m returning these is because they are not hands free. I don’t know if they sent me the wrong shoe, but the back of the shoe is so hard there is no way that they are hands free.
Pickleball G –
I am disappointed in these shoes. I have been wearing Sketchers for casual wear for years and my last pair of Pickleball shoes were sketchers. When they wore out I tried to find the same/similar pair but could not find what I was looking for. I chose these slip on Pickleball sketchers and am somewhat disappointed. I find them extremely stiff and do not like the slip on style. In fact, I untie the laces and slip my foot into the shoe. I find my sock slips down when I try to slip then on.

Will use for pickleball
Pickle W –
I use them for pickleball. I had begun to develop achillles tendon issues since using the shoes it’s gone. I am so thankful.
ROSEMARY –
Very comfortable shoes with great arch support. It runs slightly wide.

I want to love the Elites bc they have Arch Fit, but I’m a size 10 and they just felt a little heavy and clunky on my foot. Love the colors and the look, but I’ve got to stick with Viper Court Pros.
Don’t shy away from this shoe for pickleball, it just didn’t feel as good as the Pros do for me.
Barbara –
I get so many compliments on these shoes, very stylish. Took some breaking in to do but overall very comfortable
Pfried –
I wish these would of worked but toe box was too narrow. I do not have wide feet but they were a little squished = I would go one size up. Using for pickleball and was afraid they might be too long/causing toe to catch/falls. Loved the colors and style.
Women M –
I really wish sketchers would make women’s shoes in a wide great design, but do it in a wide shoe for for women sketcher doesn’t carry wide shoes for women such a bummer. What a lack of a missed opportunity for the market.
Dee –
I enjoy wearing these to work on casual days and running errands on the weekends.
KAO –
I liked the looks of the Skecher Pickleball viper court shoe & loved that these were also Step in shoes. But once I tried them on I found the toe box way too narrow to be used in an active sport like Pickleball
Cincin –
Wonderful arch support and very comfortable. Made well with padding on the inside bottom. Love the steong goodyear rubber soles
