I bought these because I needed some good arch support for a flat arch foot of mine. I really loved the old shape ups and these are a decent replacement so far. Very comfortable for what I used them for once I got used to them. The bottoms have a slightly rocker type bow to them, so it does take getting used to. But I love them!

Orthopedic surgeon recommended rocker bottom shoe for arthritis in feet. Found this one at a reasonable price. It was very uncomfortable. I could feel my foot turning towards the outside (unusual for me). And the cut where the ankle sits it too high, causing it to push into my ankle all day.

I usually buy the D’lux 2.0 walkers. I thought I’d mix it up and try the Augustus. Big mistake. They look good. Have Goodyear rubber. Says max cushioning but are horrible. No wonder they were at a reduced price.

Rear of heel has sharp upward angle. First time I put on shoe I almost fell backwards, don’t think this type of design is good for senior walkers.
