Needed a new pair of shoes for walking and bought these. I walk maybe 8 miles per week max and I’ve only had these for three weeks. The rubber on the bottom is already showing wear at the heel and the ball of my foot! I bought the extra wide and got this lace up design in case I needed to tighten them up, which has been the case. Even so, I probably should have not gotten the extra wide as my feet slide around enough that I am developing a blister on the ball of one foot. But that was my mistake. I thought I could tighten the laces enough to prevent that AND still slide my foot in. Not the case. If I tighten the laces up enough that my foot feels snug, I can’t slide my feet into them, which defeats the purpose of buying them in the first place. But the shoes are very light, breathable and comfortable. Love the thick cushioning on the bottom and they look good.
I caught a sale when I bought these and also bought a pair of boat style slip ins and another pair of walking shoe slip ins that have laces but you can’t tighten them. I guess they’re just a decorative touch but I liked the way they looked so I got them for casual walking around.
I am finding that these Skechers are great for casual walking around, but the jury is still out for serious walking. I’m an old, fat guy and love being able to simply slip my feet into them. However, I am not impressed with how quickly the soles are wearing out on the ones I bought for serious walking, and I suspect they won’t last more than a year.

I love the slate blue color. The slip ins are so handy when traveling. They are comfortable when I got them but I did need to break them in a little. They pinched my toes a little but the mesh stretches to accommodate them. I also like the no tie laces a lot. Great shoe!

They’re good for hiking and for walking in the snow, I bought them for excursions when I go on cruises. They feel comfortable, just for those reasons, I’m very happy with my purchase, I would buy them again.

This was my second pair of Skechers. I ordered the same size 9 1/2 WW as I did with my first pair, but this second pair were not cut as wide and so they didn’t fit comfortably.
I just repacked the shoes and I returned them to Sketchers. The return policy is very liberal (fair) and Sketchers pays the shipping cost. That’s the right thing to do, but not every company does that. Kudos to Sketchers, they’ve made a customer for life.

These shoes fit me perfectly, and they are functional and very comfortable. I was skeptical about the slip-on thing, but they really work. I needed something that I didn’t have to tie, since I just recently had a total hip replacement. But i am sold on these. They are possibly the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn.

Retired. Wear them often. Comfortable. Sturdy at 1st but wears pretty fast with my walking pattern. Slip In and go is worth it.
