Length of the shoe seemed too long but the width was much too narrow (I ordered a wide). Feels like it would be comfortable if the fit was right.

These are great–super comfortable from the get-go. I have wide, flat feet and the medium fits perfectly. I live in NYC and do tons of walking.
I always go up a 1/2 size in lace-up sneakers because that works for me.
