I got the gray ones and they were very, very light gray compared to my tie up ones. The lighter color actually makes them look a little dressier. I use the dark gray ones for working around the house and my new slip ons will be for out and about. Very versatile

I thought this shoe ws a tie shoe when I purchased it. Shortly after my purchase you sent me an advertisement for the same shoe at a 20% discount. Bummer!

I only tie version of these shoes and like them very much. That’s why I ordered these. There’s no mention in the description that these are not tie shoes. They are step-ins with elastic shoelaces. While they fit, without being able to tie them I can’t make them fit tight enough to be comfortable. I plan to cut out the elastic shoelaces and replace them with standard shoelaces to see if that works. Otherwise this particular archfit insole is the best I’ve ever tried. They help my foot pronate in instead of out like most shoes do. As an older person, they add stability which most running shoes / sneakers do not. I would like to find more of this version in tie shoes, but it appears that they are discontinuing them. I guess most people have wider feet and I like the step in style. I didn’t like it at all. The design of this particular soul is also very stabilizing and helpful for older people to keep their balance. It is an excellent design and they should really promote this in their sales campaign. But alas, they appear to be discontinuing this shoe. They should rethink this.

I only use Arch Fits for daily “semi-power” walks of 3-4 miles. “Bad” news is that nowhere on the site does it say they have “no tie” laces, so I razored them off and replaced w/ real laces.
