I’ve had these 8 days and the bottom of the shoes (sole) is already peeling apart. This is my second pair of skechers to do this recently, thinking the first pair was a random defect. Very disappointed as I’ve worn skechers for years.
Denver C –
They were tight on initial try-on (I bought them online), and after wearing for 2 weeks, they loosened a bit but I still need to wear thin socks and take extra time prying my foot into them. The bungee cords have a strand of silver threading, so there is a bit of “shiny” to these shoes, not my style, and is not described in the online info. There was a rubber type material with the Skechers logo on the foot bed, these peeled off in less than a week. Not a big deal, but a surprise that it happened so soon after I began wearing them. The foot bed cushioning changed after 2 weeks (as shown in photo). You can see that the heel area in the shoe pictured on the right has a larger raised area than the shoe on the left. I’m not sure if the footbeds are supposed to mold to our feet, but none the less, I can feel it under my left foot as a slight bump. They are comfortable once I get them on, perhaps I’ll get a shoe horn to make it easier. If I bought another pair, I would go to a Skechers retail store to see other color options and try on the shoes. However, if the cushion continues to morph and the bump begins to annoy me, I won’t purchase or recommend. If I do recommend to a friend, I would mention all of the caveats listed here.

Just bought them, no opinion yet. Love the mask you sent great idea for every order.

Not sure why but these are definitely 1 size smaller. I have to order a 12 in Skechers now. (I used to be an 11 and thes feel like 11’s ..i ordered 12s) so, I will cut the insole out. I don’t have time to return and re-order.

this shoe is great for wearing around the house, very comfortable and easy to get on and off

This is my third pair of Gratis Strolling sneaks. They are my go to for outside activities. I have to say on size I have one in 8 1/2 W, 9M and 9W (due to availability) and they all seem to fit. The bungee lace ups are the best, no stopping to fix untied laces or worrying about getting caught on bike pedals. Very comfortable and neat appearance.

I wear them for my daily walks they are so comfortable. I wear them with jeans, they are a little more stylish than typical sneakers so they look a little dressier and provide a nice accent with the silver trim around the shoes. I liked them so well I bought a 2nd pair.
Jazzy –
It fits but I have longer toes so my feet just fits the sole a 10.5 would’ve been much better but other wise its good. I’m hoping it stretches over time

I’ve had a pair of these Skechers sneakers for years and they finally wore out. I wanted to replace them with the exact same shoe due to their durability and ease of slipping on. I was thrilled that I could replace the worn out pair with a fresh new identical pair bought at Zappos.
Betty –
The top at the instep was very narrow and hard to slip your foot into.
Mich –
Returned/replaced 1 pair because the rubber sole starting peeling within a few weeks. I received the replacement and after 5 months the soles are beginning to peel.

The fit was fine. No support I have bad feet and use insoles. I bought these because I had arm surgery and can’t tie my shoes. I would never wear these for an everyday shoe. other wise they are fine for now.

I wanted a pair of slip on sneakers for traveling and going through TSA. These are perfect. They are comfortable and require no break-in period. Great for city walking.

love the feeling of wearing no shoes

Fit in my usual Skechers size (8) but too flexible for me, I need a stiffer sole.

The bottom of the shoe is tearing off. I’ve been wearing these just 3-4 days a week for a little over one month. I have older Skechers that have lasted much longer than this pair. I would not recommend these.
Pinky –
Would return but through away packing material won’t purchase again as these gratis shoes have gone down hill

Seemed a bit tight and they squeaked when I walked on my hardwood floor.
No one wants to squeak when they walk.

I ordered size 8.5 and could not even fit my foot in the shoe. I am wearing a similar model 8.5 Sketchers right now and it does not even remotely resemble what I received.

I purchased my normal size of Skechers. These are so snug on the top that I cannot put them on. Will be returning.

I am really disappointed in the lace design of these shoes. It’s one long elastic lace with no adjustment, so over the first few weeks of owning the shoes, the laces stretched and made the shoe fit too loosely. I decided to replace the lace myself with a locking design, only to discover after cutting the lace that it was SEWN IN at one eyelet. Now I have a completely unlaced shoe that is no longer wearable. There is no reasonable explanation for this design. Laces are supposed to be functional, not decorative.

These shoes fit true to size, and have comfortable insoles, with a fair arch support, but there is some stitching across the front that secures some thin strips of fabric (that actually contribute to the design that I liked) and I could feel the stitches on the inside rubbing against the outer edge of my baby toes, even through my sock. After trying them on and walking in the house for just a few minutes my baby toes were red and sore. I do like to wear no socks in slip-on shoes in warm weather but I would not be able to in these. I had wanted a slip on but I might just have to find another pair of Saucony running shoes.
Becky –
Shoes are okay but run very small, width and length. Disappointed.

Though many Skechers styles, where ‘wide’ includes the actual width (C or D), this did not. Should have been my first red flag. After struggling to get my feet into them (collapsing heels made it a challenge), the W width felt like M (regular) instead of a C width. This style ignores A width (narrow) but I suspect their M width might actually work for narrow fit. As narrow is so is D width (WW), so exchange is not possible.
Will definitely rethink my opinion of Skechers since they are continuing to restrict their size & width ranges to 6 or larger and M or (not really) W.

Great quality step in shoe. Very stylish, great design!
