These hiking shoes are nice and light weight. Not as light as the coldwater-canyon. But they also run bigger and are much more roomier. I was able to buy a 1/2 size smaller and the medium width gave me plenty of room without needing a wide like normal. The coldwater-canyon run very narrow. Why don’t more styles come in wides? And would have rather had the blue & pink colors. But these will do.

Size 8 was my ‘recommended size’ and I originally ordered that, as I have a pair of Sketcher’s leather sneakers in 8 M which fit great. The recommended size 8 felt very large, I and I think it’s the width that is partially to blame so I returned the 8 and re-ordered a 7.5. The 7.5 fits nicely length wise, however it feels very, very wide, much wider than my ‘medium’ or B width in my leather sneakers…. almost like clown shoes. I’m trying to get used to the much wider width as I need a waterproof sneaker for an upcoming vacation, but it feels weird to wear these with the wide width even though they’re marked medium.

I have Raynaud’s, which for me means my toes become uncomfortably chilled and difficult to warm once they’re wet. I will have no problem fitting a cozy pair of socks on when wearing these!

I bought these to wear for walking in wet weather and they do not leak.

Comfortable and waterproof. I spend a lt of time out walking, I have a pup and she demands frequent outings rain or shine. These are the best!!
