I am 72 years old and have bunions on both feet. I thought my walking days were over when my other walking shoes pinched my bunion and caused a great deal of pain and redness. I tried the wide width and they didn’t hurt the sides of my feet where the bunions are. I am back to walking again and happy that I found these shoes.

I wear a 9.5 W for the most part and these shoes seemed to fit perfectly when I tried the shoes on with socks until I tried walking across the room. The back of the shoe then seemed too wide and the back of my foot just came up along the back of the shoe instead of staying in the shoe. That said, I mistakenly ordered the pink and gray version of these shoes on the same order and I don’t have the same trouble with them. I can walk in them without the back of my foot coming out of the shoe and I’ve kept that pair.

Really happy with these workout shoes. I didn’t want to spend a whole lot since my workouts are mostly treadmill-centric, and I also wanted a somewhat muted style ( I didn’t want giant red Ss on the sides of my shoes). I’ve never bought Skechers before because of the usually garish designs or the fact that the fabric usually looked like it was knitted. These are comfortable, padded well, inexpensive, not knitted, have a muted design, and are kinda cute. Score!

These shoes were worn with Skechers footie socks for long walks to and from airport terminals and on all day walks on cobblestone trails and stairs. They broke in right away and functioned perfectly.. I am a heavy walker and these shoes had what I call great “bounce back” which helped me keep up with the fast walking tour groups!
